Perhaps you have asked yourself why should I join the NY Metro ACM Chapter?

ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery, which began in 1947, is the world’s largest educational and scientific society, uniting computing educators, researchers and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources and address the field’s challenges. ACM strengthens the profession’s collective voice through strong leadership, promotion of the highest standards, and recognition of technical excellence. Our NY Metro ACM Chapter, with well over 150 members, supports professional growth by providing opportunities for life-long learning, career development, and most importantly, professional networking.

Chapter dues for individuals are currently $49/ year. Membership runs for one year from your signup date.

To join the NY Metro Chapter of ACM:

1. If you do not already have an account, you must create one.  If you are on our email list, it is highly likely that you already have an account and only need to reset the random password that was assigned to your account.  Try the lost password link in our registration system.

2. Once you are able to login to your account, there is an option for ‘My Membership’ in the drop down list which will step you through joining and  payment.
