On Thursday, September 21, 2023 the NY METRO ACM Chapter along with St. John’s University hosted a guest speaker, Associate Dean Max Hergenrother, adjunct professor and Director of Technology Operations for St. John’s University, The Lesley H. and William L. Collins College of Professional Studies discussing the topic of Generative AI and chatGPT on the Queens Campus. The discussion included the latest on Generative AI in the workforce and higher education. The event was attended by a number of members of the NY Metro ACM along with students, faculty and alumni from St. John’s University. After the presentation, a questions and answers period engaged those in attendance.
