On November 15, 2024, a group of 10 NY Metro ACM members participated in a tour of the LIRR Control Center located in Jamaica, NY followed by lunch. Here learned about the Centralize Control Hub where all train management and operations are handled. This hub is also houses the emergency response room where management handles all issues – we were able to tour this room as well. This tour was educational and very interesting.
